"For behold, I create1newheavens and a newearth; And the 2formerthings will not be remembered or come to amind.
"But be 3glad and rejoiceforever in what I create; For behold, I createJerusalem for rejoicing And her people for gladness.
"I will also 4rejoice in Jerusalem and be glad in My people; And there will nolonger be heard in her The voice of 5weeping and the sound of crying.
20"Nolonger will there be bin it an infant who lives but a few days, Or an oldmanwho does 6not clive out his days; For the youth will die at the age of one hundred And the d7one who does not reach the age of one hundred Will be thought accursed.
"They will 8buildhouses and inhabit them; They will also 9plantvineyards and eat their fruit.
"They will not build and 10anotherinhabit, They will not plant and anothereat; For 11as the elifetime of a tree, so will be the days of My people, And My chosenones will 12wear out the work of their hands.
"They will 13not labor in vain, Or bear children for calamity; For they are the f14offspring of those blessed by the LORD, And their descendants with them.
"It will also come to pass that before they call, I will 15answer; and while they are stillspeaking, I will hear.
"The 16wolf and the lamb will grazetogether, and the 17lion will eatstraw like the ox; and 18dust will be the serpent'sfood. They will 19donoevil or harm in all My 20holymountain," says the LORD.
