"However, put forth Your hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh; he will curse You to Your face."
"Then a spirit passed by my face; The hair of my flesh bristled up.
"Is my strength the strength of stones, Or is my flesh bronze?
"My flesh is clothed with worms and a crust of dirt, My skin hardens and runs.
'Have You eyes of flesh? Or do You see as a man sees?
Clothe me with skin and flesh, And knit me together with bones and sinews?
In whose hand is the life of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind ?
"Why should I take my flesh in my teeth And put my life in my hands?
"But his body pains him, And he mourns only for himself."
"My bone clings to my skin and my flesh, And I have escaped only by the skin of my teeth.
"Why do you persecute me as God does, And are not satisfied with my flesh?
"Even after my skin is destroyed, Yet from my flesh I shall see God;
"Even when I remember, I am disturbed, And horror takes hold of my flesh.
"Have the men of my tent not said, 'Who can find one who has not been satisfied with his meat '?
"His flesh wastes away from sight, And his bones which were not seen stick out.
Let his flesh become fresher than in youth, Let him return to the days of his youthful vigor;
All flesh would perish together, And man would return to dust.
"The folds of his flesh are joined together, Firm on him and immovable .
