7 Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward . 20 I have sinned ; what shall I do unto thee, O thou preserver of men? why hast thou set me as a mark against thee, so that I am a burden to myself? 12 For vain man would be wise , though man be born like a wild ass's colt. 1 Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble. 10 But man dieth , and wasteth away : yea, man giveth up the ghost , and where is he? 7 Art thou the first man that was born ? or wast thou made before the hills? 21 O that one might plead for a man with God, as a man pleadeth for his neighbour ! 4 Knowest thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth, 29 This is the portion of a wicked man from God, and the heritage appointed unto him by God. 4 As for me, is my complaint to man? and if it were so, why should not my spirit be troubled ? 33 The clods of the valley shall be sweet unto him, and every man shall draw after him, as there are innumerable before him. 6 How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm? 13 This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive of the Almighty. 28 And unto man he said , Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding. 17 That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man. 23 If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter , one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness: 11 For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways. 15 All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust. 29 When he giveth quietness , who then can make trouble ? and when he hideth his face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only: 30 That the hypocrite reign not, lest the people be ensnared. 25 Every man may see it; man may behold it afar off. 28 Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly. 7 He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work.
