7 The things that my soul refused to touch are as my sorrowful meat. 15 So that my soul chooseth strangling, and death rather than my life. 21 Though I were perfect, yet would I not know my soul: I would despise my life. 1 My soul is weary of my life; I will leave my complaint upon myself; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul. 14 Wherefore do I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in mine hand? 22 But his flesh upon him shall have pain , and his soul within him shall mourn . 4 I also could speak as ye do: if your soul were in my soul's stead, I could heap up words against you, and shake mine head at you. 2 How long will ye vex my soul, and break me in pieces with words? 25 And another dieth in the bitterness of his soul, and never eateth with pleasure. 13 But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth , even that he doeth . 12 Men groan from out of the city, and the soul of the wounded crieth out : yet God layeth not folly to them. 16 And now my soul is poured out upon me; the days of affliction have taken hold upon me. 25 Did not I weep for him that was in trouble ? was not my soul grieved for the poor? 18 He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword. 20 So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat. 22 Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers . 28 He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light. 30 To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living. 21 His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth.
