11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 41 He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is , being interpreted , the Christ. 44 For Jesus himself testified , that a prophet hath no honour in his own country. 18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. 43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive . 18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. 3 To him the porter openeth ; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out . 4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. 12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming , and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth : and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. 1 Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end. 19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. 27 Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.
