25 And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet? 28 Ye yourselves bear me witness , that I said , I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him. 25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh , which is called Christ: when he is come , he will tell us all things. 42 And said unto the woman , Now we believe , not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world. 69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God. 27 Howbeit we know this man whence he is : but when Christ cometh , no man knoweth whence he is . 31 And many of the people believed on him, and said , When Christ cometh , will he do more miracles than these which this man hath done ? 41 Others said , This is the Christ. But some said , Shall Christ come out of Galilee? 42 Hath not the scripture said , That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was ? 22 These words spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue. 24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. 27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world. 34 The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou , The Son of man must be lifted up ? who is this Son of man? 3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent . 31 But these are written , that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
