Young's Literal Translation
Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk , then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.
But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto , and I work .
And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh , when no man can work .
But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight , until they called the parents of him that had received his sight .
Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth .
While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed , and did hide himself from them.
Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow , till thou hast denied me thrice.
Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask , and ye shall receive , that your joy may be full .
Jesus saith unto him, I f I will that he tarry till I come , what is that to thee? follow thou me.
Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die : yet Jesus said not unto him , He shall not die ; but, If I will that he tarry till I come , what is that to thee?
