2 "You shall do to Ai and its king just as you did to Jericho and its king ; you shall take only its spoil and its cattle as plunder for yourselves. Set an ambush for the city behind it." 27 Israel took only the cattle and the spoil of that city as plunder for themselves, according to the word of the LORD which He had commanded Joshua. 14 All the spoil of these cities and the cattle, the sons of Israel took as their plunder ; but they struck every man with the edge of the sword, until they had destroyed them. They left no one who breathed. 2 They spoke to them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, "The LORD commanded through Moses to give us cities to live in, with their pasture lands for our cattle."
