Judges 5:18; Judges 5:21; Judges 9:17; Judges 10:16; Judges 12:3; Judges 16:16; Judges 16:30; Judges 18:25 (King James Version)

18 Zebulun and Naphtali were a people that jeoparded their lives unto the death in the high places of the field. 21 The river of Kishon swept them away , that ancient river, the river Kishon. O my soul, thou hast trodden down strength. 17 (For my father fought for you, and adventured his life far, and delivered you out of the hand of Midian: 16 And they put away the strange gods from among them, and served the LORD: and his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel. 3 And when I saw that ye delivered me not, I put my life in my hands, and passed over against the children of Ammon, and the LORD delivered them into my hand: wherefore then are ye come up unto me this day, to fight against me? 16 And it came to pass, when she pressed him daily with her words, and urged him, so that his soul was vexed unto death ; 30 And Samson said , Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life. 25 And the children of Dan said unto him, Let not thy voice be heard among us, lest angry fellows run upon thee, and thou lose thy life, with the lives of thy household.
