10 And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time of incense. 21 Now when all the people were baptized , it came to pass , that Jesus also being baptized , and praying , the heaven was opened , 16 And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed . 12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray , and continued all night in prayer to God. 28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. 18 And it came to pass , as he was alone praying , his disciples were with him: and he asked them, saying , Whom say the people that I am ? 28 And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings , he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray . 29 And as he prayed , the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering . 1 And it came to pass , that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased , one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray , as John also taught his disciples. 2 And he said unto them, When ye pray , say , Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come . Thy will be done , as in heaven, so in earth. 1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray , and not to faint ; 10 Two men went up into the temple to pray ; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. 11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. 47 Which devour widows' houses, and for a shew make long prayers : the same shall receive greater damnation. 40 And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation. 41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down , and prayed , 44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. 46 And said unto them, Why sleep ye ? rise and pray , lest ye enter into temptation.
