To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.
And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth.
And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;
And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay , and departed to his own house, glorifying God.
How he went into the house of God, and did take and eat the shewbread , and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone?
And they that were sent , returning to the house, found the servant whole that had been sick .
Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way , and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.
But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation ; and a house divided against a house falleth .
When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith , I will return unto my house whence I came out .

And this know , that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come , he would have watched , and not have suffered his house to be broken through .
For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided , three against two, and two against three.
Behold , your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you , Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say , Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
And it came to pass , as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched him.
And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in , that my house may be filled .
And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost .
I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased ; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted .
And Jesus said unto him , This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.
Saying unto them, It is written , My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high priest's house. And Peter followed afar off.
