Young's Literal Translation
And when they had performed all things according to the law of the Lord, they returned into Galilee, to their own city Nazareth.
John answered , saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh , the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose : he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
Now when all the people were baptized , it came to pass , that Jesus also being baptized , and praying , the heaven was opened ,
And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.
And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying , We have seen strange things to day.
And he left all, rose up , and followed him.
And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying , That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people.
Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes round about besought him to depart from them; for they were taken with great fear: and he went up into the ship, and returned back again .
And they did so, and made them all sit down .
And not many days after the younger son gathered all together , and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living .
And when they saw it, they all murmured , saying , That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.
And when he was come nigh , even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen ;
And could not find what they might do : for all the people were very attentive to hear him.
For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had .
But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
And the whole multitude of them arose , and led him unto Pilate.
