17 And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching , that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by , which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them. 21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason , saying , Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone? 30 But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying , Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners? 33 And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink ? 2 And certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days? 7 And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him. 30 But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him. 36 And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat . 37 And, behold , a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, 39 Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying , This man, if he were a prophet , would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner. 37 And as he spake , a certain Pharisee besought him to dine with him: and he went in , and sat down to meat . 38 And when the Pharisee saw it, he marvelled that he had not first washed before dinner. 39 And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness. 42 But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done , and not to leave the other undone . 43 Woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets. 44 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them. 53 And as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things: 1 In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. 31 The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out , and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee. 1 And it came to pass , as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched him. 3 And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying , Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day? 2 And the Pharisees and scribes murmured , saying , This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them. 14 And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him. 20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come , he answered them and said , The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 10 Two men went up into the temple to pray ; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. 11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. 39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.
