17 One day He was teaching; and there were some Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting there, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was present for Him to perform healing.

Ministering Women

1 Soon afterwards , He began going around from one city and village to another, proclaiming and preaching the kingdom of God. The twelve were with Him, 6 Departing, they began going throughout the villages, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.

Five Thousand Fed

12 Now the day was ending, and the twelve came and said to Him, "Send the crowd away, that they may go into the surrounding villages and countryside and find lodging and get something to eat; for here we are in a desolate place." 52 and He sent messengers on ahead of Him, and they went and entered a village of the Samaritans to make arrangements for Him. 56 for the Son of Man did not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them."] And they went on to another village.

38 Now as they were traveling along, He entered a village; and a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her home.
