But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying , Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners?
And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink ?
Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury?
And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him.
And they reasoned with themselves, saying , If we shall say , From heaven; he will say , Why then believed ye him not?
And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled ? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
