Young's Literal Translation
When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying , Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.
Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew,
And Jesus said , Who touched me? When all denied , Peter and they that were with him said , Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in , save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.
He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am ? Peter answering said , The Christ of God.
And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings , he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray .
But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake , they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him.
And it came to pass , as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said .
Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?
Then Peter said , Lo , we have left all, and followed thee.
And he sent Peter and John, saying , Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat .
And he said , I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.
Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high priest's house. And Peter followed afar off.
And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were set down together , Peter sat down among them.
And after a little while another saw him, and said , Thou art also of them. And Peter said , Man, I am not.
And Peter said , Man, I know not what thou sayest . And immediately, while he yet spake , the cock crew .
And the Lord turned , and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow , thou shalt deny me thrice.
And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.
Then arose Peter, and ran unto the sepulchre; and stooping down , he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed , wondering in himself at that which was come to pass .
