Young's Literal Translation
As it is written in the prophets, Behold , I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
And saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go thy way , shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those things which Moses commanded , for a testimony unto them.
When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.
Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say , Arise , and take up thy bed, and walk ?
I say unto thee, Arise , and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.
And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out : and his hand was restored whole as the other.
And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold , thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee.
Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.
And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole ; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
While he yet spake , there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said , Thy daughter is dead : why troublest thou the Master any further?
For John had said unto Herod , It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother's wife.
Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?
For Moses said , Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:
And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way ; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.
And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth , and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away : and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out ; and they could not.
And John answered him, saying , Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.
And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off : it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off : it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out : it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:
Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery , Do not kill , Do not steal , Do not bear false witness , Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.
They said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit , one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory.
And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way ; thy faith hath made thee whole . And immediately he received his sight , and followed Jesus in the way.
And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
And the second is like, namely this , Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool .
And he denied it again. And a little after, they that stood by said again to Peter, Surely thou art one of them: for thou art a Galilaean, and thy speech agreeth thereto.
