Young's Literal Translation
As it is written in the prophets, Behold , I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.
But when Herod heard thereof, he said , It is John, whom I beheaded : he is risen from the dead.
For they all saw him, and were troubled . And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer : it is I; be not afraid .
When Jesus saw that the people came running together , he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.
But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask : can ye drink of the cup that I drink of ? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with ?
And they said unto him, We can . And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of ; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized :
And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell . And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
And as touching the dead, that they rise : have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying , I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
For many shall come in my name, saying , I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
And they began to be sorrowful , and to say unto him one by one , Is it I? and another said, Is it I?
And he said , Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will , but what thou wilt.
We heard him say , I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.
And Jesus said , I am : and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
