Parable of the Sower and Soils

1 He began to teach again by the sea. And such a very large crowd gathered to Him that He got into a boat in the sea and sat down; and the whole crowd was by the sea on the land. 5 "Other seed fell on the rocky ground where it did not have much soil; and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of soil. 8 "Other seeds fell into the good soil, and as they grew up and increased, they yielded a crop and produced thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold." 20 "And those are the ones on whom seed was sown on the good soil; and they hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold."

Parable of the Seed

26 And He was saying, "The kingdom of God is like a man who casts seed upon the soil; 28 "The soil produces crops by itself; first the blade, then the head, then the mature grain in the head. 31 "It is like a mustard seed, which, when sown upon the soil, though it is smaller than all the seeds that are upon the soil, 47 When it was evening, the boat was in the middle of the sea, and He was alone on the land.

Healing at Gennesaret

53 When they had crossed over they came to land at Gennesaret, and moored to the shore. 6 And He directed the people to sit down on the ground; and taking the seven loaves, He gave thanks and broke them, and started giving them to His disciples to serve to them, and they served them to the people. 3 and His garments became radiant and exceedingly white, as no launderer on earth can whiten them. 20 They brought the boy to Him. When he saw Him, immediately the spirit threw him into a convulsion, and falling to the ground, he began rolling around and foaming at the mouth. 27 "And then He will send forth the angels, and will gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest end of the earth to the farthest end of heaven. 31 "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. 35 And He went a little beyond them, and fell to the ground and began to pray that if it were possible, the hour might pass Him by. 33 When the sixth hour came, darkness fell over the whole land until the ninth hour.
