Young's Literal Translation
How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread , which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?
And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?
And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?
And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil , and also concerning the swine.
And he said unto them, How is it that ye do not understand ?
And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought .
And Jesus looked round about , and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!
And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.
And Jesus answered and said , while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the Son of David?
And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.
After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death .
And when they heard it, they were glad , and promised to give him money. And he sought how he might conveniently betray him.
