And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.
And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them.
But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go , and he goeth ; and to another, Come , and he cometh ; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come .
Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up , because they had no deepness of earth:
And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up , and choked them:
But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold , some sixtyfold , some thirtyfold.
Another parable put he forth unto them, saying , The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took , and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened .
And they said , Some say that thou art John the Baptist : some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
And I say unto you , Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery : and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery .
And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,
And about the eleventh hour he went out , and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.
Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about , and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country :
Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.
They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.
Again, he sent forth other servants, saying , Tell them which are bidden , Behold , I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed , and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.
Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.
And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying , Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
He also that had received two talents came and said , Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
And when he was gone out into the porch, another maid saw him, and said unto them that were there, This fellow was also with Jesus of Nazareth.
He saved others; himself he cannot save . If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.
And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre.
In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
