12 And having been warned by God in a dream not to return to Herod, the magi left for their own country by another way. 21 Going on from there He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets ; and He called them. 39 "But I say to you, do not resist an evil person; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. 9 "For I also am a man under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one, 'Go !' and he goes, and to another, 'Come !' and he comes, and to my slave, 'Do this !' and he does it." 13 Then He said to the man, "Stretch out your hand !" He stretched it out, and it was restored to normal, like the other. 5 "Others fell on the rocky places, where they did not have much soil ; and immediately they sprang up, because they had no depth of soil. 7 "Others fell among the thorns, and the thorns came up and choked them out. 8 "And others fell on the good soil and yielded a crop, some a hundredfold, some sixty, and some thirty.

Tares among Wheat

24 Jesus presented another parable to them, saying, "The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field.

The Mustard Seed

31 He presented another parable to them, saying, "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field ;

The Leaven

33 He spoke another parable to them, "The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three pecks of flour until it was all leavened." 14 And they said, "Some say John the Baptist ; and others, Elijah ; but still others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets." 9 "And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery ." 3 "And he went out about the third hour and saw others standing idle in the market place ; 6 "And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing around; and he said to them, 'Why have you been standing here idle all day long?' 8 Most of the crowd spread their coats in the road, and others were cutting branches from the trees and spreading them in the road.

Parable of the Landowner

33 "Listen to another parable. There was a landowner who PLANTED A VINEYARD AND PUT A WALL AROUND IT AND DUG A WINE PRESS IN IT, AND BUILT A TOWER, and rented it out to vine-growers and went on a journey. 36 "Again he sent another group of slaves larger than the first ; and they did the same thing to them. 41 They said to Him, "He will bring those wretches to a wretched end, and will rent out the vineyard to other vine-growers who will pay him the proceeds at the proper seasons." 4 "Again he sent out other slaves saying, 'Tell those who have been invited, "Behold, I have prepared my dinner ; my oxen and my fattened livestock are all butchered and everything is ready ; come to the wedding feast."' 16 "Immediately the one who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and gained five more talents. 17 "In the same manner the one who had received the two talents gained two more. 20 "The one who had received the five talents came up and brought five more talents, saying, 'Master, you entrusted five talents to me. See, I have gained five more talents.' 22 "Also the one who had received the two talents came up and said, 'Master, you entrusted two talents to me. See, I have gained two more talents.' 71 When he had gone out to the gateway, another servant-girl saw him and said to those who were there, "This man was with Jesus of Nazareth." 42 "He saved others ; He cannot save Himself. He is the King of Israel ; let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe in Him. 61 And Mary Magdalene was there, and the other Mary, sitting opposite the grave.
