5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, 4 But he answered and said , It is written , Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. 6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written , He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up , lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. 7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. 10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence , Satan: for it is written , Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve . 10 For this is he, of whom it is written , Behold , I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. 13 And said unto them, It is written , My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves. 24 The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed ! it had been good for that man if he had not been born . 31 Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written , I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad . 37 And set up over his head his accusation written , THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
