Contrast the Upright and the Wicked

1 A gentle answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger. 22 A wise man scales the city of the mighty And brings down the stronghold in which they trust. 31 And behold, it was completely overgrown with thistles; Its surface was covered with nettles, And its stone wall was broken down. 7 For it is better that it be said to you, "Come up here," Than for you to be placed lower in the presence of the prince, Whom your eyes have seen. 9 Like a thorn which falls into the hand of a drunkard, So is a proverb in the mouth of fools. 4 Who has ascended into heaven and descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has wrapped the waters in His garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name or His son's name? Surely you know! 29 "Many daughters have done nobly, But you excel them all."
