18 By Your favor do good to Zion; Build the walls of Jerusalem. 29 Because of Your temple at Jerusalem Kings will bring gifts to You.

A Lament over the Destruction of Jerusalem, and Prayer for Help.

1 O God, the nations have invaded Your inheritance; They have defiled Your holy temple; They have laid Jerusalem in ruins. 3 They have poured out their blood like water round about Jerusalem; And there was no one to bury them. 21 That men may tell of the name of the LORD in Zion And His praise in Jerusalem, 19 In the courts of the LORD'S house, In the midst of you, O Jerusalem. Praise the LORD! 2 Our feet are standing Within your gates, O Jerusalem, 3 Jerusalem, that is built As a city that is compact together; 6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: "May they prosper who love you. 2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the LORD surrounds His people From this time forth and forever . 5 The LORD bless you from Zion, And may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life. 21 Blessed be the LORD from Zion, Who dwells in Jerusalem. Praise the LORD! 5 If I forget you, O Jerusalem, May my right hand forget her skill. 6 May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth If I do not remember you, If I do not exalt Jerusalem Above my chief joy. 7 Remember, O LORD, against the sons of Edom The day of Jerusalem, Who said, "Raze it, raze it To its very foundation." 2 The LORD builds up Jerusalem; He gathers the outcasts of Israel. 12 Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion!
