5 Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah. 42 Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets. 15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death. 29 All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship : all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul. 9 What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth? 25 For our soul is bowed down to the dust: our belly cleaveth unto the earth. 27 He rained flesh also upon them as dust, and feathered fowls like as the sand of the sea: 14 For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof. 7 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill; 25 DALETH. My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.
