30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 8 And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported , and as some affirm that we say ,) Let us do evil, that good may come ? whose damnation is just. 19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do . 21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 11 (For the children being not yet born , neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand , not of works, but of him that calleth ;) 17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. 21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid ; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. 20 For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
