For you died,1 and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.

When Christ, who is youra life,2 appears,3 then you also will appear with him in glory.45
Put to death,5 therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature:6 sexual immorality,7 impurity, lust, evil desires and greed,8 which is idolatry.96
Because of these, the wrath of God10 is coming.b7
You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived.118
But now you must rid yourselves12 of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander,13 and filthy language from your lips.149
Do not lie to each other,15 since you have taken off your old self16 with its practices

and have put on the new self,17 which is being renewed18 in knowledge in the image of its Creator.1911
Here there is no Greek or Jew,20 circumcised or uncircumcised,21 barbarian, Scythian, slave or free,22 but Christ is all,23 and is in all.

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves24 with compassion, kindness, humility,25 gentleness and patience.2613
Bear with each other27 and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.28
