Of many trespasses (ek pollwn paraptwmatwn). The gift by Christ grew out of manifold sins by Adam's progeny. Justification (dikaiwma). Act of righteousness, result, ordinance ( 1 Corinthians 1:32 ; 1 Corinthians 2:26 ; 1 Corinthians 8:4 ), righteous deed ( 1 Corinthians 5:18 ), verdict as here (acquittal).
