Hey everyone! Reading on some of your comments I found a lot of marriages seem to have some troubles (all marriages do) but to the point where they fall apart. I am married young, my husband is Christian and he is part of the church's music group.
SoulFilledWithChrist Sorry i pushed enter on accident. haha
Continuing, THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO DO when in a marriage is to have GOD your center connection. If you have God in between you, your marriage is automatically saved.
First make sure that your personal relationship with the Lord is strong and healthy. As long as you ask Christ for guidance, everything will fall into place. We are a very impatient species, but remember that whatever happens to you or your husband, God has a will and a plan great and bountiful for you and your spouse. He will NEVER leave your side.As for your husband, ask him to pray with you, to go to church, or maybe your marriage needs some renewel. As for me and my husband, we pray and read the bible together. This is not only helping us grown in our faith, but it really is a bonding experience.
casscampbell Amen. You are blessed to have a husband that is willing to be that intimate with you, spiritually speaking. I so agree about needing to strengthen our personal relationships with the Lord because that is all we truly have control over. I have learned through my 22 years of being married that seeking God to lead, strengthen, help etc. is what has sustained me and my marriage. Our road began rocky because of strong personality and family systems differences, but God has done and continues to do great things in and through us. I am so, so grateful to God for his mercy and provision in this marriage. I would say to any young wife in pain regarding the condition of her marriage not to give up. Seek God for direction and trust that He can restore, renew anything He has ordained.
