It's important to have the capacity to give up anything for Jesus. If I can't then there is a problem with me, and I need to resolve it. Nothing should have a higher position in my heart then God. (Luke 14:26) Read less

The Lord understands our pain. Like the well he spoke of to the woman in the new testament he fills and quenches the thirst of all that are in need. Hagar was in the desert and was about to faint and die, but God lead her to a well of water. As God delivered Hagar from her near death experience so also my Lord delivers me from all misery and pain. Psalm 34:18. Hebrews 2:18 .
--God also names Hagar's son Ishmael, "God hears". It's difficult to bare many things that go on in our lives, God doesn't ignore our prayers for help when we ask. Psalm 55:1-23 Isaiah 55:11, Isaiah 59:1 Read less
