Genesis 3:
The serpent deceived the woman into thinking that God was only keeping something away from them, something He only wanted. The woman ate it and gave some to the husband too. After eating it, they ended up having shame for their nudity. (Which explains why it was a big deal in Genesis 2). They know good AND evil now. Man and woman were like children, they don't really know what evil was, and only trusted God.
When God came, man and woman hid because of their nudity. God knew they ate from the tree, and when He confronts man about it, man points at woman, whom then points at the serpent.
God punishes all three of them for disobeying Him:
Serpent: To live life on his belly forever and eat dust.
A punishment for both the serpent and woman will be passed down to future generations, not just to them.
Woman: Labor pains will intensify, and bearing children will be painful. As much as one will love her husband, the husband will be dominate over her.
Man: Can eat fruit/bread, but at the will of his own hard work to grow it. Since God made man from the dust, he shall die and be with the dust where he came from.
God sent Adam and Eve away from the garden of Eden, and had cherubim (angels) guard the entrance so they can't get in again.
Adam and Eve will have to grow food from the ground, from which they came. Read less

Genesis 2:
So on the 7th day is declared holy, because God took rest on that day. Which is why we must have Sunday.
God not only made a garden that sprouted 4 other rivers, but also made man. And He made man out of DUST from the GROUND. No special ingredients, but from the ground itself. He created a man to help take care of the garden. The garden sprouted 4 rivers: Pishon (Havilah which has gold), Gihon (Cush), Tigris (East of Assyria), and Euphrates.
Even when God created man to work, He asked man of only ONE thing: to not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. For death shall fall upon him the day he does. And so far, anything God has said, has come true WORD FOR WORD.
God didn't want man to be alone, so he let man name all of the animals. After naming them though, man didn't find anyone who was like him. So God put man to sleep, and made a woman out of the man's rib. This is interesting, because God created man out of dust from the ground, YET He created woman out of THE RIB of MAN. So, that really means that woman should be a PART of man. If woman were born from dust too, she would be in command like man. But we all know how that'll go, so that's why God made woman apart of man. To not only help him, but to also be his partner when it comes time for a man to leave his parents. Together they become one.
And one thing I noticed is that in 2:25, it said they were both naked, but felt no shame. They didn't care at all. It was 'normal' I guess. Read less

Genesis 1:
I noticed that, whatever God said he wanted, happened, just as he had asked (Genesis 1:3). Things would happen EXACTLY as God said it would, word for word.
It took God 6 days to create Earth and all who live on it:
First Day: Created 'day' and 'night'
Second Day: Divided 'water' and 'sky'
Third Day: Plants that will spread (seed-bearing) are grown that have fruits to feed things that breath.
Fourth Day: Made 'day' and 'night' have their own time to shine.
Fifth Day: Made sea/land/air living creatures.
Sixth Day: Created Man to rule over His creations.
God gave man the ruling over everything, to understand that the plants are there for everyone/thing to eat.
Truly remarkable. :) Read less
