A prophecy given to Isaiah, during a certain time regarding God's people and their city.
God's people were described as sinful and corrupt evil doers that had divorced themselves from seeking after Godly lifestyle and instruction. Their overwhelming transgression into unGodliness contributed to their vulnerability to be misused by others. At that time, they had watched as strangers completely devastated their land in their presence.
God's people, who had given themselves to corruption, still attempted to offer sacrifices to God- They offered God some of the best of what they had received through corrupt dealings and evil practices.
