Why come to church to pray together? Why corporate prayer?
There is power in agreement.
Matthew 18:19 Again I say a to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.
2Cor 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
Weapons that we use in prayer are:
James 5:16 The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous avails much. Fervent in the Greek means:
to be operative, be at work, put forth power, to work for one, aid one, to effect, to display one's activity, show one's self operative.
Ways to pray effectual fervent prayers:
Knowing the Word and pray the Word. Find scriptures relating to the situation and pray them. Father Your Word says....quote those scriptures. Example: Father Your Word says where 2 or 3 are gathered together in Your Name that You are in their midst Mt 18:20
Binding and Loosing Mt 16:19, 18:18 Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. For instance, if you bind the spirit of deception, you need to loose the spirit of truth. When you bind something you need to loose something to replace it.
Mt 12: 43-45 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walks through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. 44 Then he saith , I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come , he finds it empty, swept, and garnished . 45 Then goes he , and takes with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.
Mk 3:27 No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.
The strong man here is satan and we must first bind him and his works along with his evil spirits, then we can spoil by loosing the things of God into the situation.

Le 3:16-17 in regards to fat, the fat belonged to the Lord and mankind was forbidden to eat of it.
Le 7:23-25 once again it was forbidden to eat fat and if one does eat it, he is cut off from is people. In the world of today, we know that there are good fats and bad fats. Bad fats are animal fats. Eating of such fat can lead to heart disease. Where as good fats which are vegetable oils and fish oils are beneficial to ones health. God Knew what'd happen with the consumption of animal fat within our bodies. So since God knows best, we should just listen, do it and live.
Though we are not under the Law, Gods Word is still the Word for He says 'I change not' Mal 3:6. The Word of God will stand forever. Is 40:8
The Law is Gods Law that He judges by. It was never meant for us to even try to keep, But Israel said oh we'll keep it and live by it. So God said okay lets see about that. It led to their destruction. Read less

1 Ti 4:3 the key here is (which God Created) when you go back to when Noah was told to take 2 of every animal and 7 of every clean animal (Gen 7 & 8) in to the arc, this shows that he knew Before the Law of Moses was given, what was clean to eat and what was not. The Law did not come before the flood. So eating only what God created to be eaten, which is clarified in the Law, is not being under the Law. So eating swines meat and shell fish or any other unclean creature is not good or healthy, for God created them with a purpose. They are scavengers and they keep our environment clean.
We also see this with tithing. Tithing is in and part of the Law, but, its not being under the Law to tithe being that we find tithing being done Before the Law was ever given. Abraham paid tithe to Melchizedek, and that was way Before Moses time. We see in Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14 (that which God created to be for meat or food) that we can safely eat. Read less
