Mínshùjì 2:1 Meaning and Commentary

Numbers 2:1

And the Lord spake unto Moses, and unto Aaron
Very probably after the number of the children of Israel was taken, of which in the preceding chapter, and when the congregation of Israel with the tabernacle were about to set forward on their journey; and therefore directions are here given for their orderly and regular proceeding in it, in what form and manner they should both encamp and march;

saying:

1 Yēhéhuá xiǎoyù Móxī , Yàlún shuō ,

2 Yǐsèliè rén yào gè guī zìjǐ de dào xià , zaì bĕn zú de qí haó nàli , duì zhe huì mù de sìwéi ān yíng .

3 Zaì dōngbiān , xiàng rì chū zhī dì , zhào zhe jūnduì ān yíng de shì Yóudà yíng de dào . yǒu Yàmǐnádá de érzi Náshùn zuò Yóudà rén de shǒulǐng .

4 Tā jūnduì beì shǔ de , gōng yǒu qī wàn sì qiā liù bǎi míng .

5 ái zhe tā ān yíng de shì Yǐsàjiā zhīpaì . yǒu sū yē de érzi Nátǎnyè zuò Yǐsàjiā rén de shǒulǐng .
