  1. Children of Giddel were among the Nethinim who returned from the captivity with Zerubbabel. ( Ezra 2:47 ; Nehemiah 7:49 )
  2. Bene-Giddel were also among the "servants of Solomon" who returned to Judea in the name caravan. ( Ezra 2:56 ; Nehemiah 7:58 ) (B.C. 536.)
