North country

a general name for the countries that lay north of Palestine. Most of the invading armies entered Palestine from the north ( Isaiah 41:25 ; Jeremiah 1:14 Jeremiah 1:15 ; Jeremiah 50:3 Jeremiah 50:9 Jeremiah 50:41 ; 51:48 ; Ezekiel 26:7 ).
