Wellspring

WELLSPRING

wel'-spring (maqor):

Usually "spring" or "fountain" (figuratively), translated "wellspring" only in two passages: "Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it" (Proverbs 16:22); "The wellspring of wisdom is as a flowing brook" (Proverbs 18:4). See Burroughs, Pepacton, p. 35; WELL.
