Ephesians 4:12-16 (New International Version)

12 to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ1 may be built up2 13 until we all reach unity3 in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God4 and become mature,5 attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.6 14 Then we will no longer be infants,7 tossed back and forth by the waves,8 and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming.9 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love,10 we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head,11 that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows12 and builds itself up13 in love,14 as each part does its work.
