Thanksgiving and Prayer

15 For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus4 and your love for all the saints,5 16 I have not stopped giving thanks for you,6 remembering you in my prayers.7 17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father,8 may give you the Spirita of wisdom9 and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened10 in order that you may know the hope to which he has called11 you, the riches12 of his glorious inheritance13 in the saints,14 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power15 is like the working of his mighty strength,16 20 which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead17 and seated him at his right hand18 in the heavenly realms,19 21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion,20 and every title21 that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.22 22 And God placed all things under his feet23 and appointed him to be head24 over everything for the church, 23 which is his body,25 the fullness of him26 who fills everything in every way.27
