For 1in him the whole fullness of deity dwells 2bodily,
and 3you have been filled in him, who is 4the head of all rule and authority.
In him also 5you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by 6putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,
127having been buried with him in baptism, in which 8you were also raised with him through faith in 9the powerful working of God, 10who raised him from the dead.
1311And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God 12made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses,
by 13canceling 14the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.
1515He disarmed the rulers and authoritiesa and 16put them to open shame, by 17triumphing over them in him.b
Therefore let no one 18pass judgment on you 19in questions of food and drink, or with regard to 20a festival or 21a new moon or a Sabbath.
1722These are a shadow of the things to come, but 23the substance belongs to Christ.
Let no one 24disqualify you, 25insisting on asceticism and worship of angels, 26going on in detail about visions,c27puffed up without reason by 28his sensuous mind,
and 29not 30holding fast to the Head, from whom the whole body, nourished and knit together through its joints and ligaments, grows with a growth that is from God.
