and raised us up with him and 1seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable 2riches of his grace in 3kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
For 4by grace you have been saved 5through faith. And this is 6not your own doing; 7it is the gift of God,
98not a result of works, 9so that no one may boast.
For 10we are his workmanship, 11created in Christ Jesus 12for good works, 13which God prepared beforehand, 14that we should walk in them.
Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called "the uncircumcision" by what is called 15the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands--
remember 16that you were at that time separated from Christ, 17alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to 18the covenants of promise, 19having no hope and without God in the world.
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were 20far off have been brought near 21by the blood of Christ.
For 22he himself is our peace, 23who has made us both one and has broken down 24in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility
by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in 25ordinances, that he might create in himself one 26new man in place of the two, so making peace,
and might 27reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility.
