1 Blessed is the mana who 1walks not in 2the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in 3the way of sinners, nor 4sits in 5the seat of 6scoffers; 2 but his 7delight is in the lawb of the LORD, and on his 8law he meditates day and night. 3 He is like 9a tree planted by 10streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its 11leaf does not wither. 12In all that he does, he prospers. 4 The wicked are not so, but are like 13chaff that the wind drives away. 5 Therefore the wicked 14will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in 15the congregation of the righteous; 6 for the LORD16knows 17the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.The English Standard Version is published with the permission of Good News Publishers.
