For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you 1put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
For all who are 2led by the Spirit of God are 3sonsa of God.
For 4you did not receive 5the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of 6adoption as sons, by whom we cry, 7"Abba! Father!"
8The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
and if children, then 9heirs--heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, 10provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.

Future Glory

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time 11are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
For the creation waits with eager longing for 12the revealing of the sons of God.
For the creation 13was subjected to futility, not willingly, but 14because of him who subjected it, in hope
that 15the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.
For we know that 16the whole creation 17has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now.
And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have 18the firstfruits of the Spirit, 19groan inwardly as 20we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, 21the redemption of our bodies.
For 22in this hope we were saved. Now 23hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees?
But if we hope for what we do not see, we 24wait for it with patience.
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For 25we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but 26the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
And 27he who searches hearts knows what is 28the mind of the Spirit, becauseb the Spirit 29intercedes for the saints 30according to the will of God.
