Ezekiel 11:10

10 You will die in battle. I will judge you at Israel's borders. Then you will know that I am the LORD.

Ezekiel 11:10 Meaning and Commentary

Ezekiel 11:10

Ye shall fall by the sword
Of the Chaldeans; not in the city of Jerusalem, but out of it, when it was broken up, and they fled: I will judge you in the border of Israel;
that is, inflict punishment on them, particularly by the sword; which was done at Riblah in the land of Hamath, where the sons of Zedekiah were slain, and all the princes of Judah, ( Jeremiah 52:9 Jeremiah 52:10 ) ; and this was on the border of the land of Israel, ( Numbers 34:8 Numbers 34:11 ) ; and ye shall know that I [am] the Lord;
who knows things, and foretells them before they are; and am able to accomplish all that is threatened; and am just and righteous in all my ways and works; and who am known by the judgments executed by me.

Ezekiel 11:10 In-Context

8 You are afraid of swords, so I will bring swords to attack you, declares the Almighty LORD.
9 I will force you out of the city. I will hand you over to foreigners, and I will punish you.
10 You will die in battle. I will judge you at Israel's borders. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
11 The city will not be your cooking pot, and you will not be the meat in it. I will judge you at Israel's borders.
12 Then you will know that I am the LORD. You haven't lived by my laws, and you haven't obeyed my rules. You have followed the standards set by the nations around you."
