A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet. On "shigionoth".a12
LORD, I have heard2 of your fame; I stand in awe3 of your deeds, O LORD.4 Renew5 them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy.63
God came from Teman,7 the Holy One8 from Mount Paran.9 "Selah"b His glory covered the heavens10 and his praise filled the earth.114
His splendor was like the sunrise;12 rays flashed from his hand, where his power13 was hidden.
Plague14 went before him; pestilence followed his steps.
He stood, and shook the earth; he looked, and made the nations tremble. The ancient mountains crumbled15 and the age-old hills16 collapsed.17 His ways are eternal.18
