Although he was a son,1 he learned obedience from what he suffered29
and, once made perfect,3 he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him

and was designated by God to be high priest4 in the order of Melchizedek.5

We have much to say about this, but it is hard to explain because you are slow to learn.

In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths6 of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!713
Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant,8 is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness.

But solid food is for the mature,9 who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.10
