The residue of Yisra'el, of the Kohanim, the Levites, were in all the cities of Yehudah, everyone in his inheritance.

But the temple servants lived in `Ofel: and Tzicha and Gishpa were over the temple servants.

The overseer also of the Levites at Yerushalayim was `Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashavyah, the son of Mattanyah, the son of Mikha, of the sons of Asaf, the singers, over the business of the house of God.

For there was a mitzvah from the king concerning them, and a settled provision for the singers, as every day required.

As for the villages, with their fields, some of the children of Yehudah lived in Kiryat-Arba and the towns of it, and in Divon and the towns of it, and in Yekavtze'el and the villages of it,

and in Hatzar-Shu`al, and in Be'er-Sheva and the towns of it,

and in Tziklag, and in Mekhonah and in the towns of it,

and in En-rimmon, and in Tzor`ah, and in Yarmut,

Zanoach, `Adullam, and their villages, Lakhish and the fields of it, `Azeka and the towns of it. So they encamped from Be'er-Sheva to the valley of Hinnom.
