Andstraightwaymany were gathered together, insomuch that there wasno room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door:and he preached the word unto them.

And when they couldnot come nigh unto himfor the press, they uncovered the roofwhere he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bedwhereinthe sick of the palsylay.

And it came to pass, that, as Jesus sat at meatinhishouse,manypublicansandsinnerssatalso together withJesusandhisdisciples:for there weremany,and they followedhim.

And when the scribesandPhariseessawhimeatwithpublicansandsinners, they said unto hisdisciples,How is it that he eatethanddrinkethwithpublicansandsinners?

WhenJesusheard it, he saith unto them,They that are wholehavenoneed of the physician,but they that aresick: I camenot to call the righteous,butsinnerstorepentance.

And the disciples of Johnand of the Phariseesused to fast: and they comeandsay unto him, Why do* the disciples of Johnand of the Phariseesfast, butthydisciplesfastnot?

AndJesussaid unto them*,Can the children of the bridechamberfast, whilethebridegroomiswiththem? as long astheyhave the bridegroomwiththem, they cannot*fast.

And no manputtethnewwineintooldbottles:else the newwine doth burst the bottles,and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: butnewwine must be putintonewbottles.
