On this mountain1 the LORD Almighty will prepare a feast2 of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine-- the best of meats and the finest of wines.3

On this mountain he will destroy the shroud4 that enfolds all peoples,5 the sheet that covers all nations;

he will swallow up death6 forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears7 from all faces; he will remove the disgrace8 of his people from all the earth. The LORD has spoken.9

In that day10 they will say, "Surely this is our God;11 we trusted12 in him, and he saved13 us. This is the LORD, we trusted in him; let us rejoice14 and be glad in his salvation."15
